What are the causes of breakage in grinding steel balls?

4. Operating conditions of the mill:

Preventive and Remedial Measures:
Optimizing chemical composition:
Ensure that the chemical composition of the steel ball meets the requirements and select high-quality raw material suppliers.
Improve heat treatment process:
Ensure the correct implementation of heat treatment process, eliminate internal stress, and reasonably control the content of residual austenite.
Improve the quality of steel:
strictly control the internal quality of steel, reduce segregation, central porosity and other issues.
Adjust the working conditions of the mill:
optimize the speed of the mill, the structure of the liner, etc., to reduce the wear on the steel balls.
Control the quality of raw materials: ensure that the hardness, temperature, moisture, and other indicators of raw materials meet the requirements.
